Day 14 - to Fox Glacier

We have hit the 550 mile mark on our bicycles and have hobbled broken into the wee town of Fox Glacier (pop 300). After our ride to Haast, our late start yesterday got us only to a small rural motel at Lake Paringa which doesn't even make the map...36 miles yesterday, another 42 miles today, and here we are...

Fox Glacier is a pretty nice town...we have decided to stick around and give the legs a much-needed days rest and then push on for a one hundred mile (!!!) ride up the west coast to Hokitika. Much luck needed!
